As a Senior Section member you can make your promise when you feel ready. It is a personal choice there is no time limit!
The promise is similar to the other Girlguiding UK sections but as a Senior Section member you have an extra responsibility.
I promise that I will do my best, to love my God, to serve the Queen and my county, to help other people and to keep the Guide law.
Your extra responsibility is - to be of service to the community.
You can choose to make your promise when you want, where you want and who you want to make it infront of. Some people have chosen to have it at their local meeting while others have been more adventurous making their promise in a stream, in the middle of a camp or on a rollercoaster!
You receive an aqua promise badge when you make your promise, which is the same colour as every other Senior Section member even those who have different roles! There is also the option of putting your badges onto a Senior Section badge tab to help keep them together.
