What do I need to know about attending trainings? Trainings can be in the form of anything from:
• 1 to 1 in your home
• groups at a local or central venue
• large scale events such as County Day where you have • a chance
to meet other like minded leaders
• A week-end away at a Girl guiding training centre
• Trainings can be 1 ½ hours, half day or full day.
How
much will the training cost?
Most trainings are free, you may be asked for a returnable
deposit or prices will be stated in the advert

What
do I wear?
Guide wear or blue if you don't have uniform.
Don't forget coats if you are out of doors.
For more active training and first response trousers are more suitable.
What
do I do if I find I can't go?
Contact County Office as soon as possible as there
may be a waiting list.
What
do I need to take with me?
Note pad and pen and sectional books if appropriate.
Packed lunch for an all day session.
Tea and coffee is provided for all sessions.
